SOUL SUNDAYS

What's up welcome back to Soul Sundays! I'm very excited to say that it's been one year exactly when I took over Cartoons Soul Sunday section on his blog. He created Soul Sundays 3 years prior. I still remember the day he asked me to take over and add my touch. He knew my history with music and said I should share my playlist.

I grew up to soul music, oldies, funk, disco with the special thanks to my parents. They were young teen loves & had a passion for music. They constantly played 45's such as Mary well's, Barbara mason, Marvin Gaye, Otis redding, The Fuzz, The Lovelites, Supremes and the list keeps going on and on..... I'm very thankful to be introduced and schooled to the music of the 60's & 70's motown sound. Thank you everyone that has shown me love and support! I really appreciate it. Today's selection is dedicated to my parents since they inspired me. When my parents first met my mom said my dad would always play "Brick house" by the commodores. This was a hit song in 1977 I was born in 1978 you do the math. HAHA

Hope you like my selection thank you for the love!
